At 9 a.m. on Sunday morning we worship God in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The music with which we worship is eclectic and often incorporates piano, organ, guitar, mandolin, percussion, string instruments, and music from different genres and time periods. Every Sunday we will pray together as a way of placing our lives and our world before God's love in Christ. Every Sunday we listen to Scripture and hear it interpreted. Every Sunday we gather at the Lord's Table for a bit of food and drink. This meal means many things, but chief among them is that God's love in Jesus offers people strength just like food and drink sustain our bodies. The invitation to take part is from Jesus himself. All who seek him are welcome. Every Sunday we leave the service believing our worship has just begun. We also worship when in Christ's love we care for the people we meet throughout the week. You are invited to come and join us in giving thanks to God. Nursery care is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday mornings and during other special services throughout the church year. But, children of all ages are welcome in our worship services. (And, yes, we realize that all kids make noise from time to time, and that's all right. Adults make noise too) If you would prefer your child to be in the nursery or in an age-appropriate activity elsewhere, that can be arranged. We tend to quietly escort small children from the Worship Sanctuary shortly before the sermon. If you are unable to be in attendance on a Sunday morning, you can still stream the service online. Just use the Streaming menu option at the top of any page or click the Live Streaming icon at the bottom of our Home Page. |
